Roland focuses his professional skills in tax reorganization, restructuration and implementation. He has also successfully defended his client’s interests in court proceedings and with tax authorities.

He has a vast experience in assets reorganizations, companies division and transformations. In fact, he participated as Tax advisor on several, highly noticed companies restructuration, including within those overseas companies like Porsche and Maco Chile, of the VW Group. This negotiation process was recognized as the "Deal of the Year 2014". 

​

In addition, he has given multiple Tax Conferences, before several Universities and Institutions of Chile, such as The Chilean Construction Chamber (CChC), The Exporters & Manufacturers Association (ASEXMA), The Lawyers Bar Association of Chile, Farming and Breeders Association of Chile (SAGO), and Universidad Autónoma de Chile, within others.

As part as his academic activities, he is a teacher at the Law Department of the Universidad Diego Portales, where he’s in charge of the Tax Law lecture.

 

With regard to his professional experience, he was a tax lawyer at the firm Noguera, Larraín & Dulanto, before being hired as legal counsel at the Department of Tax & Legal at KPMG Auditores Consultores Chile.

 

He has a Master´s degree in Tax Law from the Universidad de Chile, and a Diploma in Tax Litigation from the Universidad Diego Portales, where he also obtained his Law Barchelor’s Degree.

He has a membership at the Chilean Institute of Tax Law (ICHDT), the International Fiscal Association (IFA) and The Lawyers Bar Association of Chile. In addition, he is the Founder Director of the non-profit foundation "Regala Tu Cumpleaños".
